Crafted for the Culture

A Black and Minority owned brand, built for the community

The Old G is more than a gin—it’s a story. Created to give voice to the unrepresented, it embodies culture, legacy, and the spirit of community.
More than just a bottle, it’s a tribute to the OGs—the mentors, storytellers, and leaders who shaped us. They are the foundation of our neighborhoods, and their influence lives on in every pour.

Representation in Every Sip

As a Black and minority-owned brand, The Old G Gin stands as a testament to resilience and representation. It’s not just about creating a product—it’s about creating opportunities and visibility for communities often overlooked.

More Than a Bottle, It’s a Mission

The Old G isn’t owned by monarchs or corporations—it’s owned by the kings and queens of our communities. Our mission is to create a product that not only tastes good but does good.

We believe in giving back to the neighbourhoods that inspire us. Through events, sponsorships, and partnerships, we’re committed to creating opportunities and supporting the culture.

A Three-Year Journey to Perfection

Too many people have dismissed gin as harsh, overpowering, and tough to enjoy. But gin is one of the most complex and celebrated spirits—when done right, it stands above the rest. We needed to show people that their bad experience with gin wasn’t the whole story. The right gin could be smooth, full-bodied, and sipped like a fine cognac, tequila, or whiskey—without the burn, bite, or bitterness that turns so many away. After three years of testing, tasting, and fine-tuning every detail, The Old G was born—crafted to stand out, whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.

A Spirit with a Story

The Old G began with two pioneers. Hebru Brantley, a globally acclaimed artist, and Peter Ibrahim, a spirits industry veteran. Both shared a passion for storytelling and representation. Together, they set out to create more than just a gin. The Old G is a tribute to culture and legacy, crafted with purpose and designed to stand out—from its bold black bottle to its smooth, unapologetic flavor. It’s a gin that honors where we come from and toasts to where we’re going.

“This isn’t just another gin. It’s a testament to hard work, representation, and the power of community.”
